| this is my most recent post.
i am procrastinating, but at least i'm at the library. (it's open
until 2 a.m.) no life updates now, just a quick moment to further
prolong putting off the work.
by the way, xanga has changed a lot since i last used it. i don't even know what's going on anymore.

| it was a normal hum drum thursday night. justin and i went out to
eat at camino real, which happened to be really good that night.
we went back to his apartment where we watched "dodgeball" of all
movies. afterward, justin "went to the bathroom," except he
really went to get his guitar. he came in and sat at my feet and
told me i should sit up. when i asked him why, he replied,
"because i'm going to sing you a song."
justin told me months and months ago that when he proposed to whomever
would be his wife, he was going to play for her "you can close your
eyes" by james taylor. i wondered why he would tell me that,
seeing as how we were dating, and marriage was at least a possibility
(though at the time it wasn't a topic of discussion). i suppose
that's neither here nor there.
after he sang the song, he got down on a knee and said some wonderful things. then he asked me to marry him.
and i said yes.

| i've officially moved out of my grandparents' house and into a townhouse/duplex.
now it's time for some relaxation at a cinco de mayo fiesta. margarita! |
